Gonja Magnet

Gonja or Fried Green Banana chips are a stable snack in Uganda.

This Magnet is inspired by the tradition of my Jajja Mommy or my Senga Tina frying us Gonja and sending us back to the US with it a parting gift. I see it as a symbol of comfort for loved ones, who are back home.
